This activity is designed to assist clinicians in the use of diagnostic and pharmacologic tools to effectively treat patients with ED. In addition, this program highlights how open dialogue helps patients to make informed choices regarding therapy. Clinicians should consider the patient's and partner's perspectives, including their sexual script and preferences regarding therapy, when prescribing a PDE5 inhibitor. Proper assessment and follow-up are integral to treatment success and can lead to improved sexual function and overall health.
This educational activity is approved for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. It is available for credit through August 29, 2008.
